UK-Based | Hybrid/Flexible Working | Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits\n\nWe are partnering with an award-winning Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of project delivery across a diverse portfolio, while working within a supportive and technically strong team.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of civil engineering consultancy services from feasibility through to construction. You’ll be trusted to lead on technical output while collaborating closely with colleagues across all levels.\n\nYou will work on a variety of housing, residential, commercial, and extra care developments, delivering innovative and practical infrastructure solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Lead day-to-day delivery of civil engineering design projects\n\n * Produce and review drainage, highway, and infrastructure designs\n\n * Deliver SuDS, Flood Risk Assessments, and earthworks design\n\n * Prepare drawings, technical reports, calculations, and site appraisals\n\n * Ensure compliance with relevant UK design standards and planning requirements\n\n * Liaise with clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders\n\n * Support and mentor junior engineers within the team\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * Degree (BEng/MEng/MSc/HNC/HND) in Civil Engineering\n\n * Minimum 4 years’ UK consultancy experience\n\n * Strong experience in drainage and highway design\n\n * Knowledge of SuDS, FRA, earthworks, and UK planning processes\n\n * Familiarity with standards including Manual for Streets and DMRB\n\n * Proficient in AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, and Causeway Live\n\n * Experience working with residential developers\n\n * Strong communication skills and a proactive approach\n\n * Full UK driving licence (desirable)
