About Us

Royalis seeking a qualified Senior Civil Engineer to support theU.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mobile District Construction DivisionatColumbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. This position is part of a large-scale construction program and doesnot involve design work. The assignment will lastone year, with the possibility oftwo optional extension yearsbased on project needs and performance. The selected candidate will play a key role in construction oversight, inspection, project coordination, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Construction Oversight: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
  
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with military personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to support improvement efforts.
• Contract Administration: Act as a Contracting Officers Representative (COR), reviewing contractor performance, managing change orders, and verifying invoice accuracy.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare reports, recommendations, and documentation related to project status, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license but not required.
• Experience in construction management, inspection, or contract oversight.
• Familiarity with federal or military construction standards is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
