Senior Civil Engineer

Our multi-disciplinary client is looking for a technical strong and creative and passionate Senior Civil Engineer who has experience in managing others to join their Manchester team.  Working within a supportive and welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working and looking to take on responsibility. \n\nWhat’s on offer:\n\nHybrid working\n\t\nChartership support with CPDs\n\t\nPerformance related bonus \n\t\nBeing a part of an Employee-Owned consultancy\n\t\nProfessional training & development with uncapped progression\n\t\nPaid overtime\n\t\nPrivate medical insurance\n\nWhat you need to succeed: \n\nMinimum 6 years’ experience;\n\t\nChartered, or near Chartered with ICE\n\t\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills;\n\t\nExperience of developing SuDS strategies for major developments;\n\t\nDetailed design of below ground drainage networks, including SuDS elements, for buildings, highway and public realm;\n\t\nHighway, pavement design and ground modelling experience is beneficial but not essential;\n\t\nExperience of design for flood mitigation including developing sites in Flood Zone 3 is beneficial but not essential;\n\t\nKnowledge of design software such as WinDes (Microdrainage), Civil 3D, and the use of BIM;\n\t\nExperience of managing a small team
