What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and streamline financial records, ledgers, and accounts

  • Establish accounting systems, chart of accounts, policies, and processes for new clients

  • Reconcile subsidiary and general ledgers, prepare trial balances, and generate accurate financial reports

  • Guide clients by explaining financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) and offering accounting insights

  • Lead onboarding of new clients, gather and evaluate client information and accounting practices, set up QuickBooks, and transition to Account Managers within 3 months

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local accounting and reporting requirements

  • Maintain historical records and relevant documentation

  • Ensure all accounting deadlines are met for the Account Manager Team

  • Support clients with excellent service and proactive problem-solving

What You Bring:

  • 5-7 years of accounting experience, with a strong bookkeeping background

  • 3+ years of QuickBooks experience required

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online & Desktop, Excel, and Google Suite

  • Strong working knowledge of Financial Statements, including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet, and the ability to review with/explain to clients.

  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle complex tasks with attention to detail

  • Capacity to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks

  • Excellent data entry skills with high degree of accuracy

  • Adept at analyzing information, dealing with complexity, researching issues, and finding solutions

  • Experience explaining financial concepts to non-accountants

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ()

  • Experience with payroll processing, tax filings, and handling multiple legal entities ()
