Job Description
This leading international law firm are seeking an experienced, senior Bid Manager to lead their high-performing bid function.\nThis newly created role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape bid strategy, guide a talented team, and make a real impact within a high-performing firm.\nThis hybrid role can be based from the Liverpool or Manchester city centre offices - you'll spend 50% of your time in the office and 50% working from home.\nIn this senior/lead role, you will:\n * Take ownership of the firm’s bid pipeline and content library, ensuring best practice and consistency across all submissions.\n * You’ll lead, coach and develop a team of Bid Managers while personally project-managing major tenders, including NHS and wider public sector frameworks.\nThere is a competitive package on offer, with an amazing array of benefits including healthcare and dental, income protection and life assurance cover, 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and bonus scheme.\nYou should have:\n * A career background in law firms / legal sector, with a solid understanding of how legal services are procured and delivered.\n * Experience leading and managing a team, with the ability to develop, motivate and support others.\n * Strong experience in public sector procurement, ideally within NHS frameworks or similar regulated environments.\n * Exceptional bid management, writing and stakeholder engagement skills.\n * The ability to translate complex legal or technical information into clear, compelling proposals.\nYou’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.
