About the Job\nSanofi Manufacturing and Supply organization is preparing its future through an ambitious program named Modulus. The Modulus Project is at the cornerstone of Sanofi strategy as it aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges as well as Specialty Care Biologics products.\n\nMain Responsibilities-\nMaintain DeltaV system; ensuring GMP compliance and high availability to support manufacturing activities\nOptimize production processes through automation\nAs part of a team, provide DeltaV automation 24/7 on call operational support\nCSV execution; generate and execute qualification tests, including IQ, OQ, PQ\nCollaborate with Digital team on troubleshooting and optimization of automation systems' performance, including cybersecurity initiatives and routine patching activities\nSupport Plant Connectivity (IOT) initiatives and integrate smart devices to DeltaV and/or site Manufacturing Execution System (MES)\nEnsure system data storage complies with retention period Manage alarms, periodic reviews and audit trail reviews for Data Integrity compliance\nManage automation system SOPs including, but not limited to the system operation, maintenance, backup and recovery, and access control\nManage DeltaV automation lifecycle documents such as system architecture, user requirements and software specification documents\nAs part of COP, work with global SMEs to review and upgrade standards\nRepresent engineering function as System SME in audits\nManage automation spares\nSME on DeltaV DCS matters for assigned projects Tier3 projects ≤€5mil; i.e new technology introductions or operational improvements by performing automation assessments, implementation and CSV activities\nRepresent business in engineering review for automation strategy (URS, SIA, DR/DQR etc)\n\nAbout You\nDegree or Master’s in Engineering (Chemical / Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation / Industrial Systems/ Pharmaceutical)\nIndustrial experience in the Biopharmaceuticals/ API industry\nProficiency in programming/troubleshooting in DeltaV\nIn-depth understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc).\nExperience in Network Infrastructure/ Virtual Machines – Virtualization, Communication protocol i.e OPC/OPC-UA, Profibus, Profinet, IO link etc\nAn ideal candidate must be a self-driven team player and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders\nProven ability to lead automation projects with experience in project management tools and mentoring team of external automation engineers\nExperience in Aspentech IP21 Data Historian configuration will be a plus.\nStrong technical writing, experience with drafting SOPs\nExperience in interfacing with Siemens S7-1500 PLCs via Siemens TIA portal will be added advantage\nKnowledge on IOT and experience in MES will be added advantage
