We’re seeking a Senior Associate to join our Asset Management team. In this role, you will be a key player in overseeing a portfolio of affordable and mixed-income multifamily assets. Your focus will be on financial performance, operational oversight, and strategic decision-making to protect and enhance asset value. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including construction, compliance, acquisitions, and property management—you’ll use data, financial analysis, and creativity to drive results. Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management & Performance

  • Monitor and analyze property-level financial performance to ensure assets meet or exceed underwriting projections.
  • Identify opportunities for value creation and risk mitigation across the portfolio.
  • Oversee and track capital expenditures and construction draws on a monthly basis.
  • Lead analysis for potential capital events, including refinancings and dispositions.
  • Prepare internal and external performance reports for lenders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Review monthly property financials and compare against budgets and historical performance.

Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination

  • Serve as a key liaison between property management teams, service providers, and internal departments.
  • Partner with Compliance and Operations teams to ensure regulatory adherence and optimal service delivery.
  • Interface with lenders, limited partners, and government agencies on reporting and compliance matters.
  • Support efforts to measure and report social impact initiatives at the asset level.

Contract & Regulatory Oversight

  • Manage the 5th Year Contract Rent Adjustment process, including rent comparability studies and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Oversee insurance renewal and coverage compliance for assets under management.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of lease-up, stabilization, and performance milestones.

What You Bring

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in real estate asset management, finance, or portfolio oversight; affordable housing experience strongly .
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related discipline.
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
