Job Title: Senior Architect or Senior Technician\n\nLocation: Cambridge \n\nSalary: £37-45,000 DOE\n\nAbout the company:\n\nAn award-winning, employee-owned practice is seeking a Senior Architect or Senior Technologist to join their Cambridge studio. This is a permanent opportunity to take a leading role in the delivery of high-profile projects, with responsibility across all RIBA stages, mentoring junior colleagues, and ensuring both design and technical excellence.\n\nBenefits\n\nHybrid & flexible working (minimum 3 days in studio, up to 2 from home)\nEnhanced annual leave increasing with long service\nStudy sponsorship and paid study leave\nSabbaticals and structured CPD opportunities\nEmployee assistance programme & virtual GP access\nSeason ticket and cycle to work schemes\nInclusive, employee-owned culture with strong professional development supportDaily Duties\n\nLead the planning and delivery of technical design packages across all RIBA stages\nOversee day-to-day project management, ensuring design quality, client satisfaction, and profitability\nCoordinate with consultants, multidisciplinary teams, and project stakeholders\nConduct technical design reviews, audits, and share lessons learned with colleagues\nManage and mentor a small team of up to three direct reports\nParticipate in practice-wide technical leadership initiatives\nMaintain excellent client communication and contribute to strong long-term relationshipsIdeal Candidate\n\nSubstantial post-qualification experience as a Project Architect or Technologist\nProfessional qualification (RIBA/ARB or CIAT, or equivalent)\nStrong technical detailing skills with excellent knowledge of UK Building & Planning Regulations\nExperience across all RIBA stages, particularly stages 3-7\nProficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS, with the ability to mentor others in their use\nDemonstrated contract administration, project management, and financial oversight experience\nProven ability to lead, inspire, and organise teams effectively\nStrong communication skills, proactive approach, and enthusiasm for collaborative working\nDesirable: experience in heritage or conservation projects \n\nTo apply, please contact KAZ on (phone number removed) OR alternatively, send your updated CV and Portfolio across to I hope to hear from you soon
