Job Title: Senior Architect (Hybrid)

Location: Arlington, VA

Representing an award winning full service multi-discipline architecture firm with multiple offices throughout Virgina, D.C., and Maryland. We offer expertise on an extensive and diverse project types.

Our Arlington studio seeks a licensed senior architect with a passion for K-12 educational design and relevant expertise in this sector. We are looking for a collaborative professional dedicated to quality design, exceptional client service, and enhancing the built environment.

Be part of a dynamic and talented team committed to creating inspiring learning environments for students and partnering with school districts across Virginia and Maryland. This position offers a clear pathway for career growth, with the potential to advance to a Market Section Leader role for the northern region.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and contribute to all project phases, from business development to construction administration.

· Collaborate with the business development team on strategic initiatives to secure new projects.

· Manage and guide K-12 project teams in alignment with the Studio Head.

· Represent the firm at K-12 industry conferences and participate in internal management discussions.

· Mentor junior staff, oversee design and production efforts, and nurture client relationships.

Qualifications:

Licensed architect in Virginia or Maryland; LEED AP is a plus.

· 8–10 years of experience in K-12 educational design.

· Leadership experience managing both seasoned professionals and junior team members.

· Strong team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

· In-depth knowledge and experience with K-12 projects.

· Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
