Teams work best when working together, and their supportive environment ensures everyone can thrive.\nA proven commitment to design excellence, sustainability, and community impact, demonstrated through award-winning projects nationwide.\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Architect with a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and leadership capability.

You will be confident leading large-scale projects, developing design solutions that are both robust and imaginative, and inspiring colleagues and clients alike.\n\n You will bring:\n\nARB registration and at least 10 years post-qualification experience, with UK project experience essential.\nStrong design flair paired with excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.\nThe ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences – from concept stage through to delivery – using 3D models, drawings, reports, and presentations.\nCommercial and contractual awareness, plus experience managing project teams effectively.\nProficiency with digital tools including Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Newforma.\n\nThe Role\n\nWorking under the guidance of a Project Director, you will:\n\nLead the design and delivery of projects in line with the RIBA Plan of Work.\nDevelop briefs into innovative, sustainable design solutions that balance aesthetic, functional, and budgetary requirements.\nCoordinate multi-disciplinary inputs and collaborate closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.\nPrepare statutory submissions (Planning, Building Regulations, Gateway approvals), and liaise with statutory bodies.\nAdvise on material selection, write specifications, and ensure technical compliance with UK construction law and standards.\nManage design risk registers and maintain robust project documentation.\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary, tailored to your experience.\nHybrid working – 37 hours per week, with flexibility between studio and home.\n25 days annual leave + public holidays, increasing with service.\nComprehensive benefits, including:\n\nPaid professional memberships\nCareer progression support and education funding\nBUPA Health Cash Plan, Critical Illness Insurance & Life Assurance\nDiscretionary bonus scheme\nCycle2Work scheme\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nThis is a rare chance to join a progressive, design-led practice that blends a rich history with a contemporary, forward-thinking outlook.
