JSG is hiring a Senior Application Engineer / New Product Innovator for our client in the South Bay. This is an on-site opportunity. 

Relocation Available 
  
The Senior Application Engineer supports the company’s products and services. The responsibilities include designing and developing new products and services with the leadership. This role focuses on customer service with clients in Asia, Europe, etc. 

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Minimum 10 years of experience in using or developing RF and EMC instrumentation
• Pre and post-sales product and service support
  • Assists in the development of new products and services
    • Including Collateral materials
      • Application notes
      • Marketing materials
      • Data sheets
  • Attends CISPR and IEEE Meetings
  • Visits customers
  • Builds and nurtures relationships with customers
  • Assists in writing proposals to US government customers and their prime contractors
• Identifies new business opportunities
  • Works closely with strategic partners
• Assists with the of advertising, website graphics, and trade show graphics
• Participates in trade show exhibits
  • IEEE EMC Symposia and related events

• Proven applications support experience with RF and EMC instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of the RF and EMC instrumentation market
  • Knowledge of CISPR, MIL-STD, and RTCA DO-160 standards
• Strong marketing thinker
  • Ability to communicate a clear sense of the company’s mission
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to represent the organization as a brand ambassador
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations
  • Demonstrates group presentation skills
• Identifies problems promptly and gathers and analyzes information skillfully
• Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and develops realistic action plans
  • Strong project manager

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics or related technology
