Senior Analytics Engineer - Hybrid (London)\n\nLocation: Central London (2 days/week onsite)\nSalary: £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)\nEmployment Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nOverview\n\nA dynamic consultancy is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to lead the development of scalable data solutions across a range of high-impact projects. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and software development, contributing to innovative products and services that drive real business value.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign and implement robust data pipelines using tools such as dbt and Airflow.\nCollaborate with clients to understand business challenges and deliver tailored data solutions.\nTransform raw data into structured, actionable datasets for use in AI, predictive modelling, and platform development.\nPromote engineering best practices including automation, testing, and code quality.\nMentor junior team members and lead technical workstreams to elevate team capability.\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or model development roles.\nAdvanced proficiency in Python (including libraries such as NumPy and Pandas) and SQL.\nDemonstrated ability to deliver production-ready solutions in a commercial environment.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and translate technical work into business outcomes.\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS or Snowflake) and ETL/ELT orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, dbt).\n\nDesirable Skills\n\nFamiliarity with tools such as MongoDB, Glue, Athena, and React.\nExperience in API development and working with modern data infrastructure.\nAbility to work independently, solve complex problems, and contribute ideas proactively.\n\nWorking Environment\n\nHybrid working model with 2 days per week in a central London office.\nCollaborative, fast-paced consultancy environment with a focus on innovation and impact
