We are currently seeking a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for our team in Fort Worth, TX(DFW)!

The Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, under minimal supervision, will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with the company, the FAA and other regulatory and customer standards. This person will be required to mentor more junior A&Ps and or A&P apprentices. He/she will also be required to fill in as Lead when required or on a rotating basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior A&P mechanics or A&P apprentices
- Fill in as a Lead on occasion. This may include participating in a lead role on a rotating schedule such as one or two days a week.
- Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck’s RSM, QMC, customers’ procedures, FARS and all other applicable rules and regulations
- Read wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
- Perform operational and preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics, troubleshooting equipment using technical manuals and schematic drawings; and inspecting
- Responsible for completion of aircraft documentation
- Interprets discrepancies or logs (written or verbal) to understand history and nature of issue, to troubleshoot issue, and to identify required next steps (e.g., fix, defer, replace).

- Teamwork skills are necessary to empower and support personnel
- Ability to plan, organize priorities, and allocate resources effectively and efficiently
- Possess in-depth knowledge of FAA rules and regulations governing FAR 145 operations
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently with adherence to company policies
Requirements:
- Must have Airframe & Powerplant License
- Must have 5 years of Airframe and Powerplant experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain an airport badge with customs endorsement
- Ability to work independently effectively and efficiently with excellent line maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills with management, customers, and MOC

- B787-8/9/10 min 120 hr theory training with appropriate engine endorsements held for 3 years
- B747-400F min 80 hr theory training with appropriate engine endorsements held for 3 years
- B747-8F min 80 hr theory training with appropriate engine endorsements held for 3 years
- B767-200/300 min 80 hr theory training with appropriate engine endorsements
- B757-200/300 min 80 hr theory training with appropriate engine endorsements
- B737 Max min 80 hr Fam theory training with appropriate engine endorsements
- A350 min 120 hr theory training with appropriate engine endorsements
- A330-900/1000 min 80 hr theory training with appropriate engine endorsements
Workplace environment:
- Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. You will often be exposed to various weather elements as well.
- The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
