LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a organization on the northside looking for a Sr. Accountant. This role will report to the VP of Accounting/Finance and will be over the day to day accounting management of the company, with potential room for growth. The ideal candidate aligns with their culture and has a few years of progressive nonprofit accounting experience.
Responsibilities:
· Journal Entries
· Reconciliations
· AP & AR assistance when needed
· Payroll assistance when needed
· Working with CPA firm quarterly and annually
· Preparing statements for outsourced accounting work
· GL Maintenance
· Ensure GAAP Compliance
Requirements:
· Bachelors in Accounting
· 3+ years’ progressive accounting experience in a nonprofit environment
· Foundational or current public accounting experience auditing nonprofits
