Job Description

Our international client is seeking a Process Development Engineer to join the Technology Development team at the Glasgow site. This role focuses on optimizing semiconductor processes and ensuring module-level specifications are achieved for discrete products. They are looking for a results-driven professional with strong technical expertise and analytical skills.


Responsibilities will include Process Module Development: Define and develop key process modules in any of areas of patterning, etching, deposition, or metrology, ensuring they meet target specifications for performance and reliability. Process Optimization, Design of Experiments (DOE), Data Analysis, defect and Failure Analysis will also be important parts of the role.


Required skills for the Semiconductor Process Development Engineer will include:

  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor process technology and device physics
  • Experience in defining and optimizing process modules (patterning, etching, deposition, metrology)
  • Familiarity with DOE and statistical tools
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor process equipment is a plus
  • Strong analytical and technical reporting skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree )
