Pay: Excellent day rates or per-project basis — £200 - £525 Per Job

We’re now looking for an experienced Self-Employed Solar Electrician to join our expanding team on a long-term, flexible basis.
Your Role:
You’ll be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning solar PV systems, hybrid inverters, and battery storage units. Working independently or alongside our installation teams, you’ll ensure every job meets our high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission solar PV systems and energy storage solutions
- Carry out AC/DC wiring, inverter setup, and system integration
- Test and issue electrical certification to BS7671 standards
- Maintain site safety and follow company and MCS guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service on every project
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing ()
- Proven experience with solar PV and battery storage
- Full UK driving licence and own tools
- ECS or CSCS card ()
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
