Self-Employed Sales Consultant – Renewable Energy

Contract: Self-employed (commission-only basis)

Location: Clevedon, North Somerset (Hybrid working by arrangement)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for renewable energy? We’re seeking self-employed Sales Consultants to join a leading renewable energy specialist with over 30 years of success in solar PV and sustainable technologies.

This is a commission-only opportunity for ambitious individuals who thrive on autonomy and want to represent a trusted market leader. You’ll have full technical and administrative support, plus access to company-generated leads alongside your own.

What You’ll Do

• Generate, qualify, and convert new sales leads across domestic, commercial, and agricultural markets.
• Provide accurate, professional quotations and proposals, ensuring compliance and suitability.
• Maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and referrals.
• Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B or built environment sectors.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy, particularly solar PV.
• Ability to generate and nurture your own leads (company leads may follow proven performance).
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Competent with Microsoft Office.

:

• Familiarity with PV design software (e.g., PVSOL, PVSyst).
• CSCS card or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures.
