We’re working with a long-standing and respected Managed Services Provider that has been delivering enterprise-level electronic security and IT solutions. They serve a wide range of industries including commercial, education, and government, and are known for their client-first mindset, quality work, and deep technical expertise. As part of their growing managed services division, they’re looking to bring on a Security Systems Support Engineer who can blend technical know-how with strong communication skills to support their clients.
What You’ll Do:

Client Support: Tackle helpdesk tickets and troubleshooting issues while delivering exceptional customer service.

Ticket & System Management: Ensure timely ticket resolution, maintain SLA performance, and monitor client systems remotely to catch issues before they escalate.

Project Support: Participate in pre-project staging and implementation, helping ensure that project delivery aligns with defined scope and documentation.

Risk & Communication: Handle escalated issues, lead root cause analysis, and keep clients informed with clear, proactive communication.

Team Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, contribute to process and workflow improvements, and work closely with cross-functional teams.
What You Bring:

Experience supporting IT/security systems in an MSP or client-facing role

Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python)

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively

Ability to manage client relationships and troubleshoot in high-stakes environments
Bonus Points for Experience With:

Milestone XProtect, Access Control Systems (e.g., Lenel, S2)

RMM tools like ConnectWise, Ninja, or Zendesk

Veeam, AWS/Azure environments

Certifications: MCSA/MCSE, Axis, Fortinet
