Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Systems Engineer to join a fire and security services provider, specialising in the design, installation and management of advanced safety and security solutions.\n\nAs a Security Systems Engineer, you will take responsibility for servicing, fault-finding and maintaining a range of electronic security systems while supporting technical operations in the field.\n\nThis is a field-based role offering basic salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 plus paid travel, on-call and overtime allowances (OTE £43,000 - £60,000) and benefits. You will be based in London also covering some home counties.\n\nYou will be responsible for:\n\nCarrying out planned preventative maintenance on electronic security systems.\nDiagnosing faults and completing reactive repairs across various security systems.\nProviding responsive technical support to clients and internal teams.\nDelivering high levels of customer service during site visits and remote support.\nSupporting engineers and clients with technical queries when required.\nWorking flexibly to meet operational and service demands.\nPromoting best practice and supporting team development where appropriate.\nMaintaining company equipment and vehicle stock responsibly.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\nPreviously worked as a Security Systems Engineer, CCTV Engineer, Access Control Engineer, Intruder Alarm Engineer, Security Engineer, Security Service Engineer or in a similar role.\nStrong experience within the security industry.\nCompetent in working with Intruder Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, and Intercom systems. \nExperience using platforms such as Texecom Cloud, Dahua DoLynk, Salto KS, Paxton10, and Brivo.\nMethodical and structured approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.\nExcellent verbal and written communication with strong organisational ability.\n\nWhat’s on offer:\n\nCompetitive salary\n25 days' plus bank holidays\nPension scheme\nDeath in service insurance\nHealth and wellbeing support, including employee assistance services\nRegular performance and development reviews\nRecognition schemes and team engagement initiatives\nOngoing professional development opportunities and internal training programmes\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Security Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team and take the next step in your career!\n\nImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
