LOOKING FOR ENIGNEER'S NATIONWIDE\n\nJob Overview\nWe are looking for an experienced Security Systems Engineer to install, service, maintain, and fault-find electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms across commercial and industrial sites. The role involves working on customer premises, ensuring systems operate efficiently, safely, and in line with industry standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Installation, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems\n\n * \n\n Fault diagnosis and repair of security systems and associated cabling\n\n * \n\n Commissioning and testing of new systems\n\n * \n\n Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and health & safety regulations\n\n * \n\n Completing job reports and certification accurately\n\n * \n\n Providing technical support and excellent customer service on site\n\n * \n\n Working independently or as part of a team\n\n * \n\n Participating in an on-call rota (if required)\n\nSystems & Technologies\n\n * \n\n CCTV (IP & Analogue)\n\n * \n\n Access Control (standalone & networked systems)\n\n * \n\n Intruder Alarms (wired & wireless)\n\n * \n\n Basic networking (routers, switches, IP addressing)\n\nQualifications (Desirable)\n\n * \n\n NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electronic Security / Electrical Engineering\n\n * \n\n ECS / CSCS Card\n\n * \n\n IPAF / PASMA\n\n * \n\n Manufacturer training (e.g. Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, Honeywell, Galaxy)\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of BS EN and NSI / SSAIB standards (advantageous)
