Security Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining security systems to protect our clients' premises. Benefits include free parking and company van 

Must live within 10-mile radius of EH54 6GU and have valid IPAF. 

Duties 

• Design and implement security systems primarily IP CCTV, secondary, access control systems 
• Conduct site surveys to assess security needs 
• Install and configure security equipment such as cameras, alarms, and sensors 
• Troubleshoot and repair security systems as needed 
• Create system schematics and documentation for client reference 
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions 

Experience 

• Essential Skills: Computer hardware knowledge, electrical expertise, mechanical knowledge, telecommunication skills 
• Proficiency in using power tools for installation purposes 
• Experience in computer networking and system design is advantageous
