Job Description

As a Security Professional - Petrochemical Patrol in Niagara Falls, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all. Your presence and professionalism will foster positive interactions as you assist employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support operations at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of the unique risks associated with chemical and petrochemical environments, following all required protocols and procedures.
  • Report observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and site representatives as required.
  • Assist employees, contractors, and visitors by providing information and directions as needed.
  • Support emergency response actions and participate in drills specific to chemical and petrochemical industry standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is .
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is .
  • Be at least 18 years of for unarmed roles; 21+ years of for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
