Security Operations Manager - O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

Lincoln Security Services is hiring a Security Operations Manager to lead frontline security at O’Hare International Airport (ORD) under our contract with the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA).

This role is assigned to a fixed shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and provides operational command over ~75 unionized officers, including several Shift Supervisors.

Position Details:

• Full-time, salaried position
• Assigned to a fixed shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
• Operational oversight of ~75 officers and shift supervisors
• Compliance with CDA, TSA, and SIDA credentialing
• 24/7 support from Dispatch, HR, QA, and executive leadership
• Salary Range: $78,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience and shift assignment

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a consistent shift of union-represented officers and supervisors across multiple terminals
• Ensure post coverage, officer readiness, and contract compliance with CDA, TSA, and SIDA protocols
• Conduct post inspections, lead field coaching, and respond to incidents in real time
• Collaborate with Dispatch, HR, and QA teams to drive shift performance and accountability
• Serve as the shift’s primary liaison to airport stakeholders and client contacts

What You Bring:

• 5+ years in security, military, or law enforcement (2+ years in a supervisory role)
• Experience managing unionized personnel in dynamic, high-volume environments
• Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership presence
• Must possess valid PERC and Driver’s License; eligible for SIDA badge clearance
• : Airport Certified Employee (ACE – Security or Ops) or willingness to earn within 12 months
