What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to communicate any security-related concerns or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is .
• Customer service experience is .
• A guard card or license is .
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is .
• Be at least 18 years of for unarmed roles; 21+ years of for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
