Job Description
As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrols Unarmed in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact professionally with visitors and team members, offering exceptional customer service and communication. This post requires driving responsibilities as part of your duties. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
- Monitor the chemical and petrochemical location for compliance with access control procedures and report any irregularities.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or issues according to company and client protocols.
- Assist with site-specific emergency drills and support evacuation procedures as directed.
- Interact professionally with visitors, contractors, and employees while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of .
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of for unarmed roles; 21+ years of for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
