Security Installation Technician

We are seeking an energetic, career-minded Security Installation Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation and service of Intrusion Detection Systems, CCTV, and Access Control Systems in the Baltimore – Washington Corridor.

Responsibilities:

• Install, program, and repair new and existing alarm and security systems.

• Work collaboratively with an installation crew and effectively communicate with coworkers, managers, and customers.

• Read and interpret project proposals and blueprints.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems.

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on systems.

• Identify risks to customers and provide effective solutions.

• Manage and monitor inventory of service parts.

• Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields.

• Familiarity with hand and power tools.

• Ability to handle a physical workload and work on diverse job sites, from construction sites to occupied office spaces.

• Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and attention to detail skills.

• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving and criminal record.

• Knowledge of DMP, AXIS, Quintron, AMAG, and Bosch is .
