Hands-on experience with systems like Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, and Scantronic is highly advantageous. A solid understanding of the security sector and a proactive, self-motivated approach to installation-based work are essential for success.
EXPERIENCE: Security Installation Engineer - Intruder Alarms, Access Control and CCTV
As an experienced Security Installation Engineer, you’ll bring practical expertise in the installation of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems. Strong wiring skills and a sound understanding of electronic systems are essential. Experience with major brands such as Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, and Scantronic will be highly beneficial, and holding industry-recognised qualifications will further enhance your effectiveness in the role.
Certifications such as FIA, BTEC, NVQ Level 2/3 in Electronic Security, or accreditations from NSI or SSAIB are a strong advantage. A full UK Driving Licence is essential, as this mobile role involves travelling to a variety of sites.
