Our client is a well-established and trusted name in the electronic security sector, with a strong reputation for delivering tailored solutions to sensitive environments — particularly within Stadia and MOJ Prison sectors. \n\nDue to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are seeking an experienced and electrically qualified Security Installation Engineer to join their team, based in the North West and covering sites across the UK.\n \nRole Overview: \nThis is a field-based role focused on the installation of advanced electronic security systems, with an emphasis on high-security environments. The successful candidate will have experience working with CCTV (IP essential), Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems, along with a strong electrical background.\n \nKey Responsibilities: \nInstall and commission a range of security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder) \nWork from wiring diagrams and layout drawings to ensure accurate installation \nCarry out cable pulling, containment, terminations, and full commissioning \nCollaborate with site teams and project managers to deliver high-standard installations \nEnsure compliance with NSI, BS standards, and site-specific security protocols \nComplete accurate records and handover documentation \nTravel across the UK to work on varied and secure client sites Requirements: \nProven experience installing electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder) \nStrong knowledge of IP CCTV systems is essential \nElectrical background (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) \nECS Card () \nCTC Clearance (desirable – must be willing and eligible to undergo vetting) \nWillingness to travel and stay away when required \nFull UK driving licence What’s on Offer: \nUp to £42,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) \nCompany vehicle + fuel card \nDoor-to-door travel paid \nOvertime and expenses \n25 days holiday + bank holidays \nPension scheme, tools, phone, and ongoing training \nLong-term progression in a company delivering to some of the UK’s most secure and iconic sites
