SD-WAN Solution Architect - 6 month contract / Hybrid Location: London\n\nClosing date: 9th June - may close sooner if a high volume of applications are received.\n\nJoin Smart DCC as an SD-WAN Solution Architect and play a critical role in shaping secure, scalable, and high-performing network solutions that support the UK’s smart energy infrastructure. Working as one team and across our industry, we rise to the challenge to shape Smart DCC, and the future.\n\nA career at Smart DCC means being part of something bigger – a dynamic organisation that’s not just helping transform energy but also shaping the future.\n\nHow you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future\n\nAct as the SD-WAN Design Authority, ensuring all solutions meet standards across resilience, security, scalability and performance\nLead the end-to-end design and assurance of SD-WAN architectures, including integration across cloud (Azure/AWS), on-premise and hybrid environments\nProvide technical oversight and assurance across vendors and delivery partners, ensuring alignment to architectural standards and business outcomes\nManage technical risks, dependencies and integration challenges across SD-WAN and network connectivity solutions\nDrive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation and adoption of best practices across network architecture\n\nWhat you need to bring\n\nProven experience designing and delivering SD-WAN solutions (ideally Fortinet Secure SD-WAN) across enterprise environments\nStrong knowledge of network technologies including TCP/IP, routing, security appliances (e.g. WAF, Palo Alto, F5) and cloud connectivity (Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect)\nExperience acting as a technical authority or lead across end-to-end network and connectivity delivery\nAbility to influence senior stakeholders and clearly communicate complex technical concepts\nStrong understanding of enterprise architecture, security and compliance (e.g.
