We are looking for a skilled Screw Machine Operator to join a manufacturing client in New Berlin. In this role, you will operate and maintain automated screw machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot screw machines, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy and quality, utilizing precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure reliability and longevity.
• Document production output, machine performance, and any quality issues, reporting findings to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and implement best practices.
Required and Qualifications
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience operating screw machines or similar hand lathes.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and quality control standards.
• Must be able to read micrometers, vernier calipers, and a basic shop part print with dimensions.
