Job DescriptionJob Description

Objective of Job:

Monitoring of customer demand and ensurance of coverage with make and buy parts. Procuring series material (purchase parts and raw materials) while maintaining inventory goals. 

Principal Activities

• Monitors customer demands and coverage with make and buy parts
• Analyzes changes in customer demands as support of manufacturing plants
• Maintains daily interface with customer
• Negotiates, communicates and monitors customer deliveries in case of supply issues
• Gives priorities to DAA manufacturing plants, transportation, warehouse
• Utilizes HOST and Demand Viewer
• Handle error reports and HOST lists site related
• Participates in engineering change meetings
• Cooperates with SCM teams in other DAA locations, production, quality, procurement, sales, change management, warehouse and IPST
• Coordinates changes with customer, quality, change management, sales, raw material planning, sales order coordination and IPST
• Supports IPST if needed
• Monitors and maintains material stock levels according to stock targets
• Handles special situations (such as ramp ups, ramp downs, bank builds, spare parts, pre-series, individual)
• Knows and applies the necessary steps established in the "Logistics Emergency Concept"
• Ensures things are clean and neat
• Follows work instructions and safety guidelines (Quality, Ideas for Improvement, Training, Human Resources, Security, Environmental Health and Safety, etc.) which apply according to the proper activities of the position.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
