Job Description
We are currently supporting a leading pharmaceutical company with an opportunity for a Scientist - Antibody Formulation Development to join their team in Slough on a 12-month contract.

This team plays a key role in supporting programmes from toxicology through to Phase III clinical studies.
\n
\n
Responsibilities
\n
\n
- Performing experiments/analyses and other enabling studies to support non-clinical and clinical studies
\n
- Supporting pre-formulation and formulation laboratory activities which include laboratory set-up and provision of technical resources
\n
- Authoring formulation protocols, reports and supporting documentation, based on a deep understanding of biochemical or physical degradation routes of antibody-derived molecules.
\n
- Presentation of results

Skills and experience
\n
\n
- Applicants should have a Masters (or equivalent) or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology or similar, with a demonstrated minimum of 3 years' laboratory experience, knowledge and application of new and developing technologies
\n
- Applicants should have a good experience in protein/antibody analysis (HPLC /UPLC, iCE, UV spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, rheology, MFI) with experience in formulation development and/or automation seen as an advantage.
\n
- High level of numeracy and the ability to critically evaluate data.
\n
- Ability to work in a busy team environment with changing priorities.
\n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
