We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scenic Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of scenic elements for live events, theatrical productions, exhibitions, and themed environments. The ideal candidate has a background in scenic design or fabrication and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the lifecycle of scenic projects from concept through completion
• Coordinate with designers, fabricators, vendors, and clients to ensure successful delivery
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production timelines
• Conduct site visits, supervise installations, and ensure quality standards are met
• Solve logistical and technical challenges in real-time during fabrication and load-in
• Manage procurement of materials and track inventory
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and client specifications

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in scenic project management, theatrical production, or related field
• Strong knowledge of scenic fabrication, materials, and installation practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical plans
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends or travel for on-site installations as needed
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Vectorworks)
