Scaffolding Estimator\n\nManchester (office & site-based)\n\nWorking for this Industrial & Commercial Scaffolding / Construction / Maintenance company.\n\nSalary: Competitive (with company vehicle or car allowance)\n\nKasmir Associates are recruiting for a growing construction and maintenance company\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Estimator to join a growing commercial and industrial construction company.. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong scaffolding background who is confident in both site-based assessment and office-based estimating work.\n\nThe role involves managing all aspects of the estimating process — from site visits and client meetings through to preparing tenders, bid documents, and quotations for new business opportunities.\n\n * Conduct site visits (approximately 40% of the role) to assess requirements, take measurements, and gather all relevant project information and price up jobs\n\n * Meet clients and contractors to discuss project scopes and technical details.\n\n * Prepare detailed bid documents, tenders, and quotations for industrial and commercial scaffolding projects ranging from small-scale to substantial contracts\n\n * Review drawings, specifications, and site data to produce accurate cost estimates\n\n * Using Smart Estimator software\n\n * Liaise with the operations team to ensure smooth handovers and clarity on project delivery requirements.\n\n * Compile and review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) as part of tender submissions.\n\n * Use Microsoft Excel and company estimating software to prepare costings and proposals.\n\n * Analyse and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitiveness\n\n * Support business development activities by identifying and pursuing new tender opportunities.\n\n * Maintain and develop strong client and supplier relationships to secure repeat business.\n\nExperience & Skills\n\n * Proven experience in scaffolding estimation within industrial and commercial construction sector (essential)\n\n * Previous hands-on scaffolding experience ().\n\n * Strong understanding of scaffolding systems, commercial pricing, and tender processes.\n\n * Ability to produce high-quality bid and tender documents.\n\n * Strong communication and negotiation skills.\n\n * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general estimating (ideally Smart Estimator)\n\n * Knowledge of RAMS and health & safety requirements.\n\nBenefits\n\n * Competitive salary based on experience.\n\n * Company vehicle or car allowance.\n\n * Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.\n\n * Excellent holiday allowance scheme
