Job DescriptionJob Description

Minimum of 5 years experience in contract management with working knowledge of Board policies and procedures

Basic to working knowledge of contracting concepts

Good to strong analytical and communication skills

Strong Excel experience

Works with the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) to ensure minority business compliance and reporting

Ability to monitor contract compliance and performance at all stages of the contract

Ability to promote outreach events by conducting or participating in industry trainings, forums, workshops, and seminars for small business enterprise

Ability to identify and present projects to the community at large for small business participation

Assist in the pre-qualification of vendors

Monitor and provide Prime's list of minority-certified subcontractors being utilized at the inception of the project and state why the subcontractor was chosen to OEO

Oversee Prime compliance with subcontractors in all aspects of the project including but not limited to prompt payment, discrimination, living wages law, and disseminating the trade union wage schedule to the Prime.

Monitor and provide a list of minority subcontractors utilized by the Prime after the project and state if the subcontractor was replaced or dismissed and why to OEO.

Provide a final report on the outcome of Prime use of subcontractor on the project to OEO such as work performance, amount of award, and amount paid to the subcontractor
