Saw Operator / Material Control in Mars

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Saw Operator/Material Control for a position in Mars, PA.
Position is on 1st Shift

Job Duties:
-ability to run saws
-Must have organizational skills and be willing to work with shop management and inventory management to help organize raw materials in an efficient manner.
-The ability to keep raw materials and job materials organized is required
-Ability to read tape measures, scales and other measuring devices such as calipers
-Ability to learn and utilize -coding system for material control
-Knowledge of metal material types is a plus
-Ability to maintain material inventory

Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in a machine shop environment
- Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Familiar with weld shop and machine shop general practices a plus
- Knowledge of metal material types is a plus
- Prior experience using an overhead crane, forklift, and pallet jack
- Must have valid drivers license and be able to pass a drug test and background check
