Sample Processing Technician - Chemical Laboratory

Join a respected chemical laboratory in Vallejo, CA as a Sample Processing Technician. This full-time, temp-to-hire position is ideal for candidates with prior experience in a laboratory environment, particularly those familiar with handling and logging chemical or environmental samples. Schedule: Monday to Friday – Day Shift.

Responsibilities

• Process, inspect, and sort incoming chemical and environmental samples according to lab protocols

• Accurately enter technical data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

• Print and organize lab worksheets; assist with reviewing and verifying data accuracy

• Maintain orderly records and documentation for internal and client use

• Support laboratory operations and assist the supervisor with daily tasks

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a lab setting or sample processing environment

• Ability to accurately input data into LIMS or similar lab systems

• Comfortable working around chemical substances and odors

• Good visual acuity and ability to distinguish colors for sample classification

• Strong communication and organizational skills; English fluency required

Note: Candidates without prior lab or sample handling experience will not be considered for this role.
