Macaro Iron Works a manufacturer of the finest grade, powder coated, aluminum railing systems for residential and commercial projects is seeking a Sales/ Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
A Sales/ Project Manager at Macaro both estimates and manages all their jobs and is ultimately responsible for every lead, customer, and project they are assigned. The
Project Manager is responsible for growing and achieving the revenue targets of the location, maintaining consistent profitably, and achieving an excellent reputation with our customers. This is a hybrid sales and management role where hunting (prospecting and networking) and managing customer expectations.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
● Recruit and manage subcontractors
● Estimating on-site with potential customers
● Estimating virtually with potential clients as needed
● Accurately estimating labor and materials on the quote and submitting the quote to the customer within 24 hours
● Following up with all quotes seven times within two months or until approved/rejected
● Scheduling approved estimates
● Collecting deposits before the start of each job
● Communicating with customers c
● Ensure jobs are appropriately staffed, materials are ordered● Attending and contributing at all staff meetings
● Ensure projects are kept on schedule and within budget while meeting client's needs and delivering a quality project.
● Help problem-solve with crew leads if problems arise on any project.
● Generate schedules and plans of operation for projects.
● Upsell additional services to ongoing projects/customers.
● Identify potential issues and ensure timely decisions are made.
Experience Required:
● Two years of experience in Sales or Project Management - estimating a plus
● Experience with estimating, customer service, and sales
Qualifications:
● Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, subcontractors, and clients
● Ability to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment; self- motivated
● Detail-oriented, dependable, and reliable
● Ability to accurately estimate product and labor costs
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
● Proficiency in using a personal computer, cell phone, and software programs
