Sales Operations Manager
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionSales Operations Manager , will be responsible for developing and maintaining all incentive-based compensation systems/tools, optimizing work processes and providing insights and recommendations for sales teams. The candidate will work cross-functionally with various departments to create solutions by gathering data and insights to ultimately drive best-in-class experience and productivity to meet and exceed company/department goals. The candidate will utilize industry benchmarks to deliver tracking and traceability of processes and solutions utilizing technology platforms delivered by Sales Operations.
Role expectations
- Develop, improve and maintain operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Ensure current tools and processes are designed to generate sales effectiveness, remove roadblocks, and drive efficiencies in the field.
- Enable two-way communication to stakeholders by leveraging and utilizing industry best practices, data, and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support quotas and accrual runs.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and internal stakeholders to define skill gaps, desired outcomes, and success criteria.
- Develop financial models and evaluate ROI on key programs/initiatives while maintaining an unbiased view to help drive adoption and utilization of Align Products and Services.
- Research and determine business needs on current systems and products related to compensation.
- Act as the primary contact between scrum teams, product development departments and stakeholders to ensure the products meet specific objectives for relevant systems.
- Provide insights on incentive trends, behavior and state of the business including recommendations for change.
- Ensure system readiness for all incentive related tasks
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 10+ years sales operations, strong analytics experience, and detail oriented.
- Proficient in programming and analytical skills: Salesforce, SQL, PowerBI, and Sales Performance Management tools
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong personal and professional judgment
- Adaptability to respond quickly to shifting priorities and adjust initiatives and priorities
- Comfortable with legal and regulatory processes to ensure company compliance
- Working knowledge of product development architecture
- Proficiency in the use of analytic tools and strong analytical thinking
- Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- Ability to work with large teams and a variety of people, including users, product development team members and management team members
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
Pay TransparencyIf provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. Our hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
