We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team driving revenue in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Purpose:

• Sales of Lumber, Building Materials & Millwork to walk-in, phone & online customers

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in the store/yard & over the phone
• Present products & Describe features, benefits & specifications
• Provide support & make recommendations applicable to customers' needs
• Resolve customer inquiries, issues, or concerns
• Set follow-up appointments & keep customers aware of latest developments of orders
• Assist customers with loading merchandise
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Purchasing, A/R, etc. throughout the sales process
• Enter transactions into Point-of-Sales software including quotes, orders, special orders & invoices
• Develop current sales with existing customers & generate new business with potential customers
• Assist with inventory maintenance
• Other related duties and/or projects may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis

• Knowledge of building materials encouraged
• Spanish-Speaking a Plus!

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Physical Ability to Move Large, Bulky and/or Heavy Merchandise (Up to 80 lbs.)
• Perform Tasks that May Require Prolonged Standing, Sitting, Exposure to Elements
• Available for 45 Hour Work Week
