Job Description
Role: Sales/Estimator\n\nLocation: Leeds, West Yorkshire\n\nSalary: £30,000/£35,000 (DOE)\n\nOur client a key supplier of solar/blinds within the construction industry, are keen to recruit an additional experienced Sales/Estimator to their current team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Estimating and Quoting:\n\n Analysing project requirements, gathering necessary information, and creating detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and other associated costs.\n\n * \n\n Proposal Development:\n\n Developing comprehensive and well-presented proposals, including cost breakdowns and technical specifications, that meet client needs and align with company objectives.\n\n * \n\n Client Relationship Management:\n\n Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a point of contact, and providing expert guidance on technical and commercial aspects of the project.\n\n * \n\n Collaboration:\n\n Working closely with sales teams, project managers, and other departments to ensure smooth project progression and accurate information sharing.\n\n * \n\n Sales Support:\n\n Assisting the sales team in achieving sales targets by providing timely and accurate estimates, participating in client meetings, and contributing to sales strategies.\n\n * \n\n System Maintenance:\n\n Maintaining accurate records of all estimation activities, updating company systems with relevant information, and ensuring data integrity.\n\n * \n\n Technical Understanding:\n\n Interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate and compliant estimates.\n\nSkills and Qualifications:\n\n * \n\n Technical Skills:\n\n Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.\n\n * \n\n Analytical Skills:\n\n Strong analytical and mathematical skills to calculate costs accurately.\n\n * \n\n Communication Skills:\n\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.\n\n * \n\n Sales and Business Development:\n\n Understanding of sales principles and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.\n\n * \n\n Commercial Awareness:\n\n Understanding of commercial and contractual terms and the ability to negotiate effectively.\n\n * \n\n Organization and Time Management:\n\n Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.\n\n * \n\n Software Proficiency:\n\n Familiarity with relevant software, such as ERP systems, estimating software, and Microsoft Office suite.\n\n * \n\n Industry Knowledge:\n\n Construction/Fit-out/Blinds knowledge.\n\nPleaae get in touch with Ryan Hayes @ Orchard Recruitment for further information on the role
