Sales Estimator

Due to expansion, this growing steel fabrication business have a new opportunity for anambitious and motivated Sales Estimator to join our team based at the Structural Division branch in Coseley, Wolverhampton.



They specialise in providing Section Bending and Induction Bending in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.



Estimator responsibilities include:



· Reviewing drawings and specifications in order to calculate and produce accurate quotations



· Responding in a timely manner to enquiry emails/incoming calls from clients.



· Work on your own initiative as well as part of a team



· Develop and maintain effective relationship with customers, ensuring expectations are met through proactive problem solving and suggestions



· Checking Sales orders prior to production



· Liaising with customers on manufacturing lead times and deliveries



Estimator requirements:



· Minimum of 1 years’ experience in estimating is .



· Ability to read & understand Technical Drawings



· Experience with 2D CAD



· Have excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills.



· Reside within a commutable distance to the office – this is an office based role.



· Software Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).



· Time Management: Ability to deliver within allocated time scales while maintaining accuracy.



· Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment



· Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the steelwork and construction industry would be an advantage but not essential
