Sales Estimator
Estimating responsibilities: -
Using your knowledge of CNC manufacturing processes, create accurate quotations from customer drawings
Ensure customers’ requirements are understood and are communicated accurately and effectively to all relevant internal departments
Review successful quotes; perform contract reviews to assess correct price, revision and quantities are correct and inputted into Master Price List
Commercial responsibilities:-
Point of contact for all customers enquires and dealing with both technical and commercial issues
Contact and develop new customers accounts
Schedule Commercial Manager’s visits to new and existing customers
Interface with planning, production control and engineering departments
Liaise with internal departments to ensure the Company has adequate capacity and capability to achieve customers’ requirements and offer accurate lead times
Maintain all necessary data bases
Understand and follow all internal procedures
Undertake assigned Adhoc tasks in line with skill set and knowledge to support business needs
Comply with all company procedures including Health and Safety policies
Essential Experience:
5 years’ experience within a manufacturing engineering environment working as an Estimator or Sales Executive
HND Mechanical or completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
Experienced in Excel including formulas, Word and Outlook
Fluent in English, confident and clear communicator both internally and externally written and verbal with professional telephone manner
Organised, self-starter team player who can prioritise workload whilst maintaining an eye for detail
