We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team, with a focus on driving sales growth and delivering technical solutions to our customers.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Sales Engineer with a strong background in sales and a passion for technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience and a proven track record of success in the mining and industrial sectors. Specific experience with pump sales and/or bulk material handling weighing solutions is a plus.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building relationships with customers, and delivering technical solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the mining and industrial sectors
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including cold calling, networking, and relationship-building.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product management, to deliver technical solutions
- Provide technical support and training to customers on products and solutions
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably with pump sales or bulk material handling / weighing experience
- Proven track record of success in the mining and industrial sectors
- Technical knowledge of mining and industrial processes and related equipment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Ability to travel
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (or similar technical qualification), business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Qualifications:
- Some experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including global engineering and product management
