B&G Manufacturing, a family-owned leader in precision-engineered fasteners and components for 60+ years, is hiring a Sales Engineer in Hatfield, PA. If you love translating technical requirements into practical, profitable solutions, this role is for you.

A day in the role

Your morning begins by reviewing your pipeline and refining detailed sales forecasts. Next, you jump on a call with a customer’s engineering team to clarify specs and materials, then prepare an accurate quotation for a custom part. After lunch, you coordinate with operations and production to validate cost, lead time, and schedule. You check in with key accounts, nurture new opportunities, and keep customers updated from quote through delivery. You wrap up by skimming the latest fastener and material specifications to stay sharp and support future bids.

What you’ll own

• Grow revenue through hands-on account management and development
• Discover new business and build detailed, data-driven sales forecasts
• Deliver technical guidance and precise quotations for custom parts and materials
• Collaborate with operations/production to ensure cost-effective, on-time orders
• Maintain clear communication from initial quote to delivery and beyond
• Stay current on material and fastener specifications to support customer needs and profitability

What helps you succeed

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering )
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to interpret technical requirements
• Proven track record in technical or manufacturing sales
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management
• Proactive, team-first mindset with strong attention to detail
