Our client represents the best-in-class HVAC manufacturers and provides strategic equipment solutions that meet the high standards of consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, building owners, and end-users. Their Northern NJ office is expanding to meet growing demand-and we"re looking for a seasoned sales engineer ready to lead, influence, and deliver.

-Own the Territory: Manage and expand a book of business with established consulting engineers, design-build contractors, and key decision-makers across the Northern NJ market.
-Engineer the Win: Analyze project specifications, select optimal equipment, and develop engineered solutions that meet both performance and budget goals.
-Act as a Strategic Advisor: Guide customers through complex HVAC applications with a consultative approach. Deliver clarity, confidence, and value throughout every phase of the buying cycle.
-Deliver the Experience: Collaborate with our inside application and estimating teams to ensure seamless proposals and execution.
-Promote and Educate: Represent company and our manufacturers through presentations, industry events, and targeted technical discussions.

Job Requirements:

-5+ years of proven success in HVAC equipment sales (preferably in a manufacturer"s rep or mechanical sales environment)
-Strong relationships in the North Jersey engineering or contracting community
-Deep understanding of HVAC systems, building design, and mechanical construction
-Technical acumen with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly
-Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Sciences, or Business (or equivalent experience)
-Self-motivated, accountable, and driven by performance
