Sales Coordinator/Estimator

Elevate Outdoor is a leading landscape construction and maintenance company providing high-end service to residential and commercial customers in Metro-St. Louis as well as commercial sites throughout the US. We are locally owned and operated with a strong culture and work ethic. We are currently seeking a highly organized individual experienced in sales coordination or project management.

Primary Functions

  • Support sales team throughout the sales and construction process
  • Complete material takeoffs for project/enhancements and estimates based on provided designs or instructions from Sales Reps or Designers
  • Complete estimates and proposals for maintenance packages as well as upsell maintenance and enhancement opportunities requested by Operations employees
  • Help sales reps when needed by adding change orders to estimating software for current jobs based on requests from Sales Reps and Supervisors
  • Help Sales Reps with various communications and requests from Customers throughout Sales process
  • When necessary, participate in meetings with customers to aid in the sales process and offer expert knowledge on estimates and materials
  • Work with Customer Service to provide the highest customer experience and respond in a professional, courteous, and timely manner to all customer inquiries
  • Obtain proper engineering/building/pool permits as needed for sold projects and manage permits through a pipeline until completion
  • Coordinate submittals with contractors and our internal team in a timely manner
  • Maintain knowledge of vendor materials, pricing, and availability, and work with CSMO and Sales Director to update the price list in estimating software each quarter
  • Create and maintain production rates and templates in estimating software in order to have accurate, up-to-date estimates
  • Log all customer communications and track all completed tasks in CRM
  • Assist CSMO with administering best practices for estimating, as well as ensuring the company is continually pursuing an increased GPM
  • Maintain sales pipeline dashboards and reports
  • Map customer project locations and maintenance route density
  • Regularly audit job costing data on completed projects and services
  • Maintain positive, active and open communication channels across internal departments and throughout the referral community to support marketing strategies
  • Maintain collaboration with the rest of the team by attending department meetings and 1on1’s with the Director of Sales, and ensuring accountability with respect to all established processes; furthermore, through your daily interactions with your team, reinforce Elevate Outdoor’scommitment to its Mission Statement and Core Values
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance and you represent the brand integrity of Elevate Outdoor

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of project management, customer service, or related experience
  • Experience with estimating and/or writing proposals and contracts
  • Landscape construction and/or maintenance experience not required, but helpful
  • Strong social intuition and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with co-workers, customers, vendors, and other business contacts
  • Ability to develop lasting, positive customer relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction and trust
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Excels both independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Flexible with the ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or schedule changes
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities at a time
  • Computer proficiency - Highly proficient in Microsoft and/or Google Suite applications & CRM functionality (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Self-disciplined and highly motivated with consistent behavior on daily expectations
  • Motivated to help support the Sales Reps and Designers and invest in the success of the whole team
