Sales and Business Development Manager
to join our growing Stationary Energy Storage team. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across utility, C&I, data center, and EV infrastructure markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing the full sales cycle - from prospecting and lead to contract execution - with the ability to drive strategic growth and support TAE Power Solutions's mission of delivering cutting-edge Stationary Energy Storage solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Manage commercial activities and engagements with established and growing Stationary accounts, working with the Sr. Director, Business Development - Stationary Energy Storage, and the wider commercial team to support the delivery of the sales strategy
Drive sales growth through developing relationships at strategic and executive levels; working in collaboration with the delivery team to ensure customer satisfaction and continued revenue
Lead collaborative activities across the business to deliver compelling proposals that meet customer requirements
Generate new leads and manage the sales process for targeted customers within the commercial and industrial markets for stationary applications
Manage the sales process to facilitate new engagements and develop plans, ensure opportunities are qualified, and make compelling presentations of our capabilities. As opportunities progress, you will lead negotiation and kick off new contracts
Develop and execute strategic account plans, including the delivery of business unit value propositions
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings; contribute to market intelligence and competitive insights
Provide feedback on product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and customer needs
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in the energy storage, renewables, or commercial power distribution markets
Demonstrated success in closing multi-million-dollar deals and managing long, complex sales cycles
Experience in energy sales to large commercial or industrial customers, utilities, independent power produces, or EPC/consulting firms
Deep knowledge of the industry
Excellent customer negotiation skills
Proven track record achieving or exceeding order targets
Willingness and ability to travel up 50%
Additional Requirements:
Experience of bringing new technologies to market from a tier 1 supplier or OEM perspective
Thinks strategically and innovatively about improving our business in a very complex and competitive marketplace.
Proactively promotes cross-team collaboration throughout the division and company.
Strong listening and negotiation skills and proven verbal and written abilities.
