Position Summary
The Safety Manager will lead the development and implementation of safety programs tailored to energy operations in Central Kentucky. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other relevant standards our customers require while promoting a proactive safety culture across all departments.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to energy operations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and education to employees and contractors.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate safety into operational planning.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field and/or minimum 5 years of safety management experience in energy operations or a related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and energy safety standards.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Safety Professional Certification .
