Position Overview

The Safety & Fleet Manager leads all safety and fleet operations, including administration of the Safety 101 platform across active projects and company assets. This role ensures every employee, subcontractor, and driver operates under PSR-approved safety standards and that all vehicles and equipment remain compliant, operational, and audit-ready. The position protects company personnel, assets, and continuity through proactive safety systems, training programs, and rigorous documentation to maintain readiness for inspections, audits, and leadership reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead job site safety inspections, enforce corrective actions, and manage compliance documentation.
  • Oversee fleet safety and performance through telematics, driver coaching, and maintenance tracking.
  • Conduct onboarding and training, including toolbox talks and new-hire safety sessions.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance and complete field audits.
  • Maintain OSHA-compliant facilities, organized tools, and safe storage practices.
  • Manage OSHA reporting, safety records, incident reports, and weekly performance summaries.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for safety and fleet-related communication with leadership and field teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in construction, renewable energy, or industrial safety.
  • OSHA 30 (required or within 30 days of hire).
  • Valid drivers license and clean record.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Experience with Safety 101, SharePoint, and telematics systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) .
  • CPR/First Aid certification (within 30 days).
  • : OSHA 510/500, CHST, or related credential.
